I look at acting as a way to express myself, connect with others, and giving myself creative freedom to play, explore and express in a way that feels right to me. It gives me a chance to trust my gut and to feel safe while doing it. Acting has helped me better understand the kind of person I want to be and has benefited me in life; I have learned to not be scared to ask why! When I’m working with the students, I want them to be able to experience the same. My goal with our students is to make sure that young people feel safe and heard in class, and comfortable enough to take on a character and to live in the moment. I always want us to have fun in class, to ask questions, and be curious and confident in our work. I love coming to class!
