When I joined The First Step, I discovered acting as so much more than just performance. Acting for me is about love, and connecting, listening, and empathy and so much more. I fell in love with having an outlet to create, share and express emotions that are innate to me; I just feel them. No need to act. Working at The First Step has helped me learn things about who I am, and that the key is often just living in the moment and absorbing the experience…being human! In our classes, I invite the Artists to literally feel everything and that’s why I love it so much, it’s so real and as a very sensitive and person I love being able to share that with others, in a safe and nurturing space. You are all you need to be!
